Mary Providenti McLaughlin

Mary Providenti McLaughlin, age 101, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center, following a brief illness.

She was born September 7, 1910 in Erie, a daughter of the late Michael and Pasqualina DiNunzio Providenti.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas McLaughlin, two sons, Michael T. and John M. McLaughlin; three brothers, Carmen, Tony and Frank Pruveadenti, and two sisters, Louise Bamberga and Florence Pruveadenti.

She is survived by one sister, Dolores Estes and her husband Keith, of Florida. Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass at St. Paul's RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Trinity Cemetery. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling the arrangements.
