Mitchell C. "Mitch" Thompson

Mitchell C. "Mitch" Thompson, 55, of Erie, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Fairview Manor following an extended illness. He was born June 1, 1957 in Erie, a son of the late William and Ruth Davis Thompson.

He enjoyed collecting swords and coins and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by a brother Norman Thompson.

He is survived by six brothers, William and Maxwell Thompson, Lance and Brett Keller, all of Erie, Dustin and Dallas Keller, of North Carolina; and three sisters, Florence Connell of Erie, Diana Buzard and Tracy Parker, both of Arizona. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. Ann's RC Church, 921 East Avenue, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Priscaro officiating.
