Nick "Bucci" Iacobucci , age 62, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 27, 1956, the son of the late Grace (Renaud) Iacobucci and Donato Iacobucci.

Nick graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1974. He worked at AMSCO (STERIS) for 32 years and retired from General Electric.

Nick had been a lifetime member of the Erie Maennerchor Club, where he enjoyed many years of duck-pin bowling. He was also a lifetime member of the National Club and the Nuova Aurora Club where he was an active Bocce player known to everyone as "Gringo". He had recently become a member of the American Legion.

Nick was a man of faith and heritage. He was an active volunteer each year at The Saint Paul Italian Festival.

Nick's greatest passion was his family and family gatherings, which also included many wonderful friends. He was always overwhelmed by how his wife, his children, her children, and their many friends blended so well. He felt very blessed to have everyone at these many gatherings and he cherished all their great times together. Nick also enjoyed many wonderful golf outings with his sons and son-in-law.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his half-sister Patty Deutsch and daughter Nicole Iacobucci.

Nick is survived by his beloved wife of two years, Carrie Amendola-Iacobucci. His loving children, Nicholas Iacobucci (Emily), Anthony Iacobucci, and Tara Stover (Seth); his step-children, Roger Herrmann (Meghan), Ashley Hanson (Zack) and Julie Herrmann (Mike Alcorn). Nick is further survived by his eight amazing grandchildren whom he cherished, Tyler and Gracie Iacobucci, Aleah Iacobucci, Riley Stover, Carmella and Noah Hanson, and Cecilia and Lucille Herrmann. He is also survived by his half-sister, Linda Gamble (Bob Groenendaal); brother in-law, Paul Amendola (Marie Regep) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Friends and Family may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will private in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Great Lakes Home Hospice, 1700 Peach St, Erie, PA 16501.
