Nick C. Piano

Nick C. Piano, 83, of Erie, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born May 26, 1935 in Erie, a son of the late Angelo C. and Henrietta E. Geiger Piano.

Nick was a graduate of Tech High School and attended Edinboro University and graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He was a teacher in the Harborcreek School District for over 25 years. He was an accomplished artist and enjoyed traveling and studying history.

He is survived by three brothers, Charles A. Piano (Judy), Donald D. Piano (Darlene) and William R. Piano (Sharon), all of Erie and his friend Scott Fitch of Erie. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling the arrangements.
