Norma Jean Varner

Norma Jean Varner, 65, of Erie, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born July 25, 1949 in Erie a daughter of the late Leona Scott Whipple.

She had worked at Plastek Industries Inc.

Norma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to the Casino.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her four sons, William Brown (Beverly) of Ransomville, NY, Brad Varner (Jill) of Erie, Edward Hartleb of Warsaw, NY and James Varner III of Lake City, PA; nine grandchildren, Daniella, Tommy, Amanda, Jeremy, Nicholas, Samantha, Maria, Cole and Nathan and two great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Amarah. She is also survived by her dear friend, Nancy Brozell and many nieces and nephews.

To honor Norma's wishes no calling hours or service will be observed.
