Pablo Alameda Frigel

Pablo Alameda Frigel, 89, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. He was born June 22, 1931 in San German Puerto Rico, a son of the late Jose Alameda and Maria Frigel Alameda.

Pablo worked in Puerto Rico as a Postal Worker and later as an Autobody technician. In 1982 he moved to the United States.

Pablo was a devout Jehovah's Witness. He was a very caring person and would help anyone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria D. Albino Rosas and his sister, Brunilda Alameda.

He is survived by his wife, Socorro Alameda; nine children, Pablo O. Alameda (Ana), Jose L. Alameda, Zenaida Alameda, Cynthia E. Torres, Edgardo Alameda, Ismael Alameda, Sandra I. Alameda, David Alameda (Mariebel), and Josue Alameda; one brother, Isabelino Alameda (Maria); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 calling hours will be private.

Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
