Born on December 21, 1927 in Matrice, Province of Campobasso, Italy, to Domenico Coletta and Carmela Gattozzi, she immigrated to the United States on her 21st birthday in 1948. One of her proudest moments was when she became a US citizen.

Palma was co-owner of Cirino's Fine Foods, the family business. She enjoyed trips with her husband and family, rides around the city with her children and grandchildren, and volunteering for Gifts for Kids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank, sister-in-law Mary Cirino, her brothers Giuseppe (Cora) and Michelangelo (Michelina surviving) Coletta, and sisters Rosina and Antonietta Coletta.

She is survived by her three daughters, Mary Sansone (Michael), Lucy Davis (Steven) and Rose Nelson (Terry); her grandchildren, Corinne Davis, Anthony Sansone (Becky VanCleve), Maria Ferguson (Rob), Michael Sansone, Elizabeth Bui (Patton), Christopher Davis (Megan), Alicia Wagner (Rob) and Kristen Light (Kiel). She was a proud great-grandmother to Olivia, Maeva, Russell, Carmen, Natalina, Annabelle, Mina, Jodie, Hallie, baby girl Bui, who will be born in April, and Judah and Laila. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends Debby (Baniszewski) and Sunil Raina, and special cousins Maria Rodick and Jane Sulzmann.

Palma's family would like to express their appreciation to Becca, Denise, Sherry, and Cora for their compassionate, loving care and support along with the staff at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center and AseraCare Hospice. As per Palma's request, private services were conducted at the convenience of the family by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc.
