Patricia J. Bongiorno

Patricia J. "Trish" Bongiorno, 70, of Erie, passed away Monday September 19, 2022 at UPMC Hamot with her devoted son by her side. She was born February 1, 1952 in Erie, a daughter of the late James O'Brien, Sr. and Agnes Gomolekoff O'Brien. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James O'Brien, Jr. and Robert O'Brien.

Trish lived in Erie for most of her life, where she spent her career working in sales. When her grandchildren were born in 2009, she moved to Philadelphia to be able to spend more time with them. She lived there for 8 years before returning to Erie.

Trish loved fashion and interior design. If you had the opportunity to spend time with Trish, you know what an amazing cook she was. She loved entertaining, and cooking for family and friends made her heart full.

She is survived by her son, John Bongiorno and wife Kamala; two sisters, Karen Dale and husband Dennis and Lynn Ohmer and husband Tom; and two granddaughters, Gabriella Bongiorno and Olivia Bongiorno. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom she adored.

No calling hours will be observed. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) www.bonehealthandosteoporosis.com in memory of Patricia Bongiorno. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
