Patrick F. Saccamozzone

Patrick F. Saccamozzone, age 75, of Erie, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at UPMC Hamot. He was born October 6, 1940 in Erie, a son of the late Patsy and Josephine Sanfratello Saccamozzone.

Family was everything to Patrick, there was nothing more he enjoyed. He was a lifelong diehard New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Saccamozzone and a sister, Patty.

He is survived by his wife, Linda E. Altomonte Saccamozzone of Erie; two daughters, Theresa Mitchell (Dave) and Monica Ziacik both of Erie; two sons, Patrick Saccamozzone (Kelly) of Reading, PA, Stephen Burmaster (Julie) of Findley Lake, NY; brother, David Saccamozzone (Barbara) of Erie; 10 grandchildren, Haley Dick (Steve), Joe Frisch, Samantha, Nick, and Kalynne Ziacik, Tyler, Alicia and Pat Saccamozzone, Heather Wiand and Brenden Gowdy; three great-grandchildren, Aubree Dick, Carson Frisch and Kenny Zuber.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by A Funeral Mass at Saint Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 West 6th Street, at Noon. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
