Paul A. Bruschi, Jr., 88, of Erie, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born May 15, 1937 in Hartshorne, OK, a son of the late Paul A. Bruschi, Sr. and Rose Mary (Cimino) Bruschi.
Paul was a proud graduate of Strong Vincent High School Class of 1955; where he was a standout athlete in basketball playing on their regular season undefeated team. He also excelled in Erie's Glenwood baseball leagues.
Following high school, he served honorably in the PA National Guard. Paul worked as a Mail Carrier for the United States Post Office for 33 years until his retirement.
He was a local basketball referee and enjoyed fishing, playing bocce, and cheering on the NY Yankees and Oklahoma Sooners.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Rocco Deitz; his sister-in-law, Patricia Bruschi; and his eldest niece, Lou Ann Sitler.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beth E. (Barron) Bruschi; three daughters, Paula Ann Graziano (Joseph), Mary Beth Deitz (Michael), and Lisa Marie Santiago (Miguel); one son, Matthew David Bruschi (Kristin); three brothers, Louis Bruschi, David Bruschi (Barbara), and Robert Bruschi; and his grandchildren, Luke and Maria Bruschi, Ashley Graziano, Jessica and Paul Deitz, Charles Lenox (Carlie), Natasia and Elizabeth Lenox. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 28th at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Saint Paul Catholic Church, c/o 147 West 24th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
