Paul L. Dean Sr

Paul L. Dean Sr., age 89, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Elmwood Gardens. He was born on August 29, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Leroy and Emma Jane Henry Dean.

He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a hard worker and providing for his family always came first. In the past he had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Zurn Industries. He enjoyed taking trips on his motorcycle and collecting model trains. He will be missed by all his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Plina Jane McKelvey Dean; his daughter, Deborah Cassett; and his granddaughter, Laura Wilkinson.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Borkowski (Richard); and his sons, Paul L. Dean Jr. and Charles Blose (Kathleen). Paul also had 6 brothers and 3 sisters and was very close with his brother, Leroy Dean. He is further survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
