Pauline Agnes Silvestri Fronzaglia

Pauline A. Fronzaglia 97, completed her earthly journey on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Edinboro Manor. She was born on June 8, 1920 in Cuneo, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Felice and Rosa Silvestri. Her family moved to Erie where Pauline attended St. Michael School and graduated from Strong Vincent High School, class of 1939. She married Simone A. Fronzaglia on June 28, 1941. They raised three sons.

She worked at the former Boston Store, Sanida Dairy, Erie County Court House and finally with First National Bank from where she retired. She was a long-time member of Sacred Heart of Jesus parish, singing in the church choir, assisting with spaghetti dinners and volunteering with the parish food bank. She was a participant in the Cursillo program of the Diocese of Erie. Pauline and Simone spent many years volunteering at Millcreek Community Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her youngest son Roy G. Fronzaglia, and sisters Jennie Angelotti of Hollywood, CA, and Yolanda Hill of San Francisco, CA.

She is survived by sons Nicholas C. Fronzaglia, wife Judith, of York, PA; Deacon Ronald F. Fronzaglia, wife Marsha and daughter-in-law, Patricia J. Rozumulski Fronzaglia of Erie; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church 816 West 26th Street at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Food Pantry, 816 West 26th St., Erie, PA 16508.

Pauline's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of Edinboro Manor for their compassionate care and assistance.
