Peter P. Petrianni II

Peter P. "Pets" Petrianni, II, age 66, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born on December 21, 1956, in Erie, a son of the late Peter and Mary Jane (Gentile) Petrianni.

Pete was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1974. He worked for the City of Erie Streets Department for 38 years with the last 11 spent as the Bureau Chief, before retiring in 2013. Pete was an athlete; whether it was basketball (Hoop it Up), years playing softball (Bell's Cafe), then picking up golf later in his life, he enjoyed spending time in the sun any chance he could get. He was also an avid sports fan who spent years cheering on the Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees. In his life, Pete found immeasurable joy and pride in witnessing the accomplishments and growth of his children and grandchildren.

Pete is survived by his loving children, Lindsay McShane (Michael), Danielle Petrianni (Scott), and Peter Petrianni, III (Amy); his lifelong companion, Karen Petrianni; his loving grandchildren, Isabella, Avery, Lenox, Dylan, Preston, Carmella, Josephine, Olive, Vienna, and Sonny. He is also survived by his sister, Patty Mahan (Jim); his brother, Paul Petrianni (Connie), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 16, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
