Phyllis A. Whitney Hime

Phyllis A. Whitney Hime, 81, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her residence. She was born December 14, 1940 in Erie, a daughter of the late Robert E. and Estella Ropp Whitney.

Phyllis loved working in the health field and at Fergies for many years.

She enjoyed drawing, writing, and collecting recipes. She was a people person and adored by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul; her brother, Paul R. Whitney, and her two sons-in-law, John Aquino and Martin Lepkowski, Sr.

She is survived by her seven daughters, Pamela Hime, Kimberly Aquino, Richelle Volgstadt (Jim), Patti Salamone (Tom), LuAnn Lepkowski, Laurie Seelinger (Gerry), and Joyce Belluomini (Frank); and one son, John Hime. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Saturday, August 13th from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be to the family in care of the funeral home.
