Rebecca A. Farrell

Rebecca A. Farrell, died Monday, August 3, 2015 at her home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was born March 1, 1951 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph N. and Dorothy C. Mangin.

Rebecca was a graduate of McDowell High School and worked for many years in the restaurant business. She retired as an owner, with her husband Gary, of Farrell's and Rebecca's Restaurants in Erie. Since relocating to Palm Beach Gardens in 2005 Rebecca enjoyed gardening, her church, and her affiliation with the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Gary, whom she married August 18, 1979. She is also survived by brothers, Charles (Betsy) of Kent, OH and Thomas of Madison, WI; brother-in-laws, Jack (Connie), Greg (Char), Carl Jr. (Crissy) all of Erie, and Kevin (Jo Lynn) of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Denise Shorts (Daryl) of Erie; as well as, nephews, Patrick (Teresa) of Baltimore, MD, Michael (Anthony) of Surfside Beach, SC, Steven (Michelle) of Dusseldorf, Germany, John of Manhattan, NY, Jack Jr. (Wendy) of Erie, Greg Jr. of TN, Brian (Amanda), Nathan, Thomas (Hannah), and Drew all of Erie, and nieces, Dr. Teresa Mangin (David) Keck of Madison, WI, Kelly, Carla (John), Nicole (Mark), Lindsey (Tommy), Ashley, Rebecca (Eric), Kristin (Jared), and Megan all of Erie

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass on Monday at Saint Julia RC Church, 638 Roslyn Ave., at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
