Robert E. Cornman

Robert E. Cornman, age 60, of Erie, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Saint Vincent Health Center. He was born July 17, 1952 in New Kensington, PA, a son of the late Perry and Cora Guess Cornman.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post #470 and enjoyed collecting cars.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Cornman.

He is survived by his lifelong girlfriend, Beverly P. Burch; two daughters, Laurie A. and Heidi R. Cornman; three sons, Robert E. Cornman, Jr., Joseph Cornman and Daniel R. Cornman; one step-son, James Burch all of Erie; three brothers, Kevin D. Cornman and Russell Cornman both of Erie and Perry Cornman of Union City and one sister, Bonnie Anderson of Erie. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and many attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
