Robert M. Bruno

Robert M. Bruno, 72, of Erie, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Elmwood Gardens. He was born April 13, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA, a son of Jo Yvonne Pickwick Bruno of Erie and the late Robert P. Bruno.

He was employed as an iron worker, retiring in 2006. He was an avid golfer and had made three holes-in-one.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gloria Jean Szymanowski Bruno of Erie; one daughter, Brenda Bruno Fritz (Brad) of Reading, PA; one son, Robert "Derek" Bruno of Warren, PA; one sister, Lori Bruno of Erie; one granddaughter, Brittany Fritz; one nephew, Pat; two nieces, Jess and Missy; and many other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog Peanut.

A private service will be held at the family's convenience. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
