Robert Paul Symoski passed away at Sarah Reed Senior Living on November 18, 2023. Bob was 77, the son of the late Joseph Symoski and Florence (Cerami) Symoski.

Bob graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1965. He served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Bob worked at Hammermill, later International Paper for 25 years until its closing.

Bob was an avid sportsman and fan of the Chicago Cubs. As a kid, he played Little League Baseball with his dad as coach and high school football. He was an active member of Bay City Gun Club taking part in many Trapshooting Tournaments. He enjoyed golfing with his work friends taking may trips to Myrtle Beach, duck hunting, and fishing on Presque Isle and trapshooting with his shooting buddies across the state and in Florida.

Bob married Nancy Bennetti in 1973 celebrating their 50th Anniversary this past August. He was blessed with a daughter Deanna Renaud (Nick) and a son, Joseph (Karen). He was "Papa" to his grandchildren Claire Renaud and Cole Symoski. Bob is also survived by his sister Carol Durkac and sister-in-law Patricia Dudenhoeffer, many nieces and nephews, and his buddy Carl Gentile.

The family thanks the staff at Sarah Reed for their loving care, especially our regulars, Anna, Nicole, and Abbey for that special touch shown to Bob. A thank you also to Aseracare Hospice.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at Saint Luke Church, 421 East 38th Street, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be private at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
