Ronald T. Colicchio

Ronald Thomas Colicchio, 78, of Erie, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 16, 1942 in Erie, a son of the late Theodore and Florence Augustine Colicchio.

Ron was a graduate of Cathedral Prep, Class of 1961. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Santa Monica City College, and his Master's Degree in Education from San Diego State University.

After his graduation he returned to Erie, where he taught and held various other jobs throughout his life. Ron had a tremendous faith in God and was a very active member of First United Methodist Church. Above all else, he loved his family and kept in touch with everyone through his daily phone calls.

Ron is survived by his brother, Donald Colicchio (Janet); his sisters, Nora Boehm (Walter) and Judy DiMattio (Richard); his aunt, Angeline Rossi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. We would like to thank his caregiver, Janet Scharrer and his very good friend and neighbor, John Lane.

Friends are invited to a funeral service at First United Methodist Church, 707 Sassafras Street, on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Arrangements are being handled by the John R.
