Roosevelt Taylor, age 62, of Erie, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 10, 1951 in Raleigh, NC, a son of the late James and Addie Slater Taylor.

He enjoyed doing research on the bible. He loved his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Grady Slater and Bennie Taylor.

He is survived by three brothers, Willie C. Taylor, Robert Neavins and wife Odell and Larry Neavins and wife Anglea; four sisters, Eva Early and husband James L. of Miami, FL, Julia Shields, Annie Volk and Laura Evans all of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
