Rose Ann Altadonna (Giamanco) Del Sandro

Rose Ann Altadonna (Giamanco) Del Sandro, age 71, passed away on April 8, 2024 at LECOM at Presque Isle after an extended illness. She was born May 27, 1952 in Erie, a daughter of the late Thomas and Amelia Arduini Altadonna.

Rose Ann graduated from Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1970. She had excellent athletic ability and excelled at any sport she tried including golfing and skiing, among many others. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed making many family recipes, often improving them with her special touch.

Rose Ann was a devoted wife and mother. Her family was the most important aspect of her life. She was the key to keeping family together, planning and hosting family events and holidays. She was loved by all and will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Theresa Miller.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Del Sandro; her son, Alfred Del Sandro; her brothers, Salvatore Altadonna (Rosemary), Thomas Altadonna (Debbie), Joseph Altadonna (Kate), and John Altadonna. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
