Rose Dal Porto Pardini, age 106, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at LECOM Senior Living Center. She was born in Erie on June 29, 1916, a daughter of the late Eugene and Adele Giometti Dal Porto.

Rose was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She was a skilled seamstress and worked for Lucille Owens Interior Decorating and then moved on to Al's Awning Shop where she worked for 36 years. Rose was skilled at cooking and her home was the hub for all holidays, parties, and entertaining. She was a kind and gracious host and always ready to lend a hand. Family was most important to her and she loved when the house was full of people.

She enjoyed doing crafts, flower arranging, playing canasta at the Erie West Senior Center, and quilting. Rose used her seamstress skills many times for family making beautiful clothing and gowns. Rose's grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Armand "Babe" Pardini; her sisters, Anne Dal Porto Vendetti, Mary Dal Porto Salibrici, Anita Dal Porto Cipalla, and Helen Dal Porto Adams; and her brother, Alexander "Carl" Dal Porto.

Rose is survived by her children, Adele Pardini Hosu and Lawrence "Larry" Pardini (Christine); her grandchildren, David P. Hosu II, Heather Hosu Cutter (Michael), and Nicholas "Nick" Pardini; her great grandchildren, Agnes "Aggie" Hosu, Liam Cutter and Logan Cutter; her nephews, Eugene "Gene" Salibrici and Gary Salabrici; and niece, Rita Cipalla. She is also survived by her godchild, Dan Tempestini (Marianne) and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are private. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502.
