Sarah Patricia A. Blaney, age 83, of Erie, formerly of Schuylkill Philadelphia, PA died Thursday, October 18, 2012.

She was born February 26, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late John J. and Sarah Griffin Blaney.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Harry Rudick and her brother, Francis J. Blaney.

She is survived by her sister, Theresa E. Gallagher and many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours were observed. A private Funeral Mass was held at the family's convenience at Saint Joseph RC Church. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, handled arrangements.
