Sharon L. Smith Mancuso

Sharon L. Smith Mancuso, 66, of Erie, died Thursday, November 26, 2015 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born February 24, 1949 in Erie, a daughter of Rose Marie Brewer Smith of Erie and the late Ora I. Smith.

Sharon had worked as a caregiver and enjoyed helping others. She was a member of the Sunflower Club.

She enjoyed shopping, decorating, flower gardening, dancing and above all she loved her family.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred J. Mancuso, Jr. and her grandson, Bobby Mancuso.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy M. Smith (Daniel H. Szczesny)and Pamela L. Morabito (Michael) of Erie; a son, Robert J. Mancuso of Bovita Springs, FL; loving brothers, Edwin Smith (Maria) and Larry Smith; her sister and best friend "Sissy", Kathy Pistorio (Mike); and five grandchildren, Cynthia and Jamie Horwath, Caitlyn Wolf, and Jacob Smith all of Erie and Brooke Mancuso of OH. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Cayleigh and Carter Stephenson and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
