Tracy L. Loper Calabrese

Tracy L. Loper Calabrese, age 45, of Erie, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 22, 1963 in Erie, a daughter of Gertrude Chervenka Loper and the late Ralph Loper.

She graduated from Gannon University with a B.S. Degree and received her Master's Degree from Edinboro University. She enjoyed golf, gardening, jewelry crafts and retail jewelry sales. She was retired from the Erie School District Parenting Program.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Dauber Loper.

Besides her mother she is survived by her husband, Donald A. Calabrese of Erie; one son, Donald A. Calabrese, Jr., of Erie; one brother, Ralph D. Loper and his wife, Phyllis, of Erie; and one sister, Nancy Fischer and her husband, Paul, of Erie. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street is handling the arrangements.
