ValJean Mancini O'Melian passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 86 in Erie, Pennsylvania.

She was predeceased by her parents, Aurelio and Loretta Alessi Mancini and her beloved husband, Leo (Bud) O'Melian.

She was educated at Villa Maria Grade School, Villa Maria Academy, and graduated from Stephens College and Mercyhurst University.

Val Jean enjoyed a full and robust life having lived in Buffalo and Rochester, New York, returning to Erie in her retirement years.

As per Val Jean's wishes interment will be private. Tootles! A celebration of her life will be held at a future time. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
