Vincent Lee "Vinny" Musica, 72, of Erie, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026 at his residence. He was born October 22, 1953 in Erie, a son of the late Samuel L. and Sue (Meschino) Musica.
He grew up in Little Italy and was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School.
Vinny worked for GE, A. Duchini, Inc., and Modern Industries.
He was a founding member and lead singer of the Black Diamond Band, performing alongside his fellow band members for more than 30 years.
Vinny was an avid collector of clocks, Coca-Cola memorabilia, and Buddha figurines, and he took great pride in his beloved burgundy Corvette. With his warm personality and lively spirit, Vinny had a way of bringing joy to those around him and was deeply loved by his family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Meschino; twin brother, Sam Musica; and two sisters, Rose Marie Ballard and JoAnn Heeter.
He is survived by his wife, MarySue Sabol Musica; two sisters, Janet Hefton and Sandra Roberts (Dean); two step-sons, Chris Marchini (Laura) and Michael Marchini; granddaughter, Maggie Marchini; and brothers-in-law, Tom Sabol (Joyce) and Jim Sabol (Lynne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Friday, August 28th at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
