It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Baby Violet. Violet Louise "BabaLou" Casella passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Violet was born August 9, 2019 in Erie, PA, to parents James and Ashley (Pancerev) Casella.

Violet Louise was named after her great-grandmothers. She loved swimming, taking baths, cuddling, going on trips and especially playing with her brother Vito. She also enjoyed playing games and reading books with her family. Violet may have lived a short life but it was the very best life. She was cherished by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by sisters, Kelsey Truman, Ava Pancerev, Jaelynn and Juliana Casella; brother, James Vito Casella; grandparents, Jim and Patricia Casella and James and Robin Thomas; and great-grandmother, Louise Pagliari Kwitowski. She is also survived by extended families of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Masks and social distancing will be required. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lucy's First Step, P.O. Box 9372, Erie, PA 16505.
