William S. Thompson

William "Bill" S. Thompson, 58, of Erie, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 10, 1959 in Erie, a son of the late William S. Thomson, Sr. and Evelyn Rossoni Thompson.

Bill loved fishing, collecting Hot Wheels, taking pictures at the peninsula, alternative rock bands, crab legs and anything made by Levi Strauss. His work ethic was amazing & he was proud of his 31 years at Gohrs printing service. He was loyal, dependable & spiritual-attending Table of Grace Church. What made Bill so awesome was how sociable & fun he was. He had a unique knack to make everybody feel like they were his best friend. He was a member at legion post 773 and the sportsman's athletic club.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother David Thompson.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Amann, Angela Amann, Sharon Thompson and James Thompson; his grandchildren; sisters, Susan Baker (Ronald), Monica Slubowski, Kim Moss (Jim). He was also very close to Kelly Reed and Angie Blaso. He will be greatly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orland Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
