William Harold "Bill" Wolfe, 83, resident of Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 there. He was born April 8, 1942 in Erie, a son of the late William J. and Anna Wolfe.
Bill proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Douglas H. Fox during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked as a Lineman for Penelec. where he contributed his skills for an impressive 36 years.
A devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Bill was known for his warmth and kindness, serving diligently as an Usher. He was also a member of the YMCA since 1957.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancee, Doris Murphy and nephew, James DePaul.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home.
