Our History
In January 1949, the late John R. Orlando established the John R. Orlando Funeral Home at the corner of West 22nd and Raspberry Streets in Erie, Pennsylvania.

More than seventy-five years and two generations later, both the name and location remain unchanged—an enduring symbol of the family's deep-rooted commitment to the Erie community.
In 1968, his son Michael J. Orlando joined the family business as a licensed funeral director, working alongside his father and, later, his own son John and daughter-in-law Michele. Michael continued to serve families with compassion and care until his retirement in 2020.
Today,
John and Michele Orlando remain dedicated to leading the funeral home forward, proudly preserving their legacy of personalized, affordable service delivered with the same integrity and compassion that has defined the business since 1949.
